About Me

Hi, I’m Aurora Kalos, an artist from Ukraine. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember — but only as an adult did I start asking myself: Is this truly my path, or just something that was expected of me? Do I really love art — or is it simply the only thing I know how to do? After moving to a new country, doing deep inner work, and having an honest talk with myself, I found the answer: If I don’t follow this path, I won’t be truly happy. So now, I choose art — fully and consciously. I go deep, not wide. I paint in oil on canvas, with a foundation in classical academic technique, but I break the rules when they get in the way of expressing something true. My art is about emotions expressed through the body. About feminine vulnerability. About quiet, deep inner states that don’t shout — but resonate. At the heart of
